Code orange vs gen2 race red pictures

Is it me or does the tailgate of the Gen 2 look better….

I think the new one looks great!

But if I’m honest with myself, the Gen 2 just takes it by a little in the looks department.

That interior though! That goes to the Gen 3.

Pics look like they were taken from the backup cam.
Spit on the lens and rub it with your shirt or something. I said it before, but the Gen 3 looks like an engineer took an angle grinder with 60 grit and rounded off all the lady parts off the Gen 2.

Still nice, but not as head turning.

I was on the fence about the Code Orange but reading and seeing that it has a heavy red to it. I will go that route.

Hey , no matter what color it’s a raptor it’s yours. Everyone sees color a bit different . If your all about code orange then have at it !!! Looks good !

Excellent post. Thats what Ive been wanting to see for the last 9 months. Ive had race red fords for last 15 years at least but had to go with the code orange this time around. Mine has a production day of March 1st. Pray for me.

Is it me or does the tailgate of the Gen 2 look better….

I immediately thought the same thing, from the front I think you could make an argument the Gen3 is a little better looking w/ the more distinct lighting/grill, but I kinda prefer the more “tucked in” style of the gen2 skid plate/bumper, but from the rear? No contest the gen2 looks better, from the side they’re quite similar, overall for some reason the gen3 seems more understated & less chunky in the fenders/width dept but the gen3 seems a little taller.

Basically….I don’t think gen3 looks better than gen2 from the outside, but from the inside? Forget about it lol gen3 all day

Excellent photos! It always blows my mind how similar these colors look in photos when in person they look so strikingly different, to me anyway.
