I've had an ****** Passport 8500 X50 for 5-6 years and it's saved me multiple times.

Buddy of mine switched over from the 8500 to the 9500 after he rode with me and didn't have all the BS alarms going off. The GPS memory in the 9500's are very cool! I know when I'm driving my regular roads that if it goes off its for damn sure worth slowing down for.

not sure im happy with the cobra, it seems it thinks red light camera are Ka band, as when im sitting at a red light with a camera it goes off and really goes ******* with warnings if im on the line at the light....... unless theres a setting i need to adjust or do something so it knows its a light..... either way very annoying....

plus the suction cups on these things suck ass....

My Valentine One has never let me down and saved me countless Tickets, as someone mentioned already on this thread no matter which brand you go with you definately get what you pay for with Radar detectors and mine has paid for its self at least twice in the last two years

X2 on the Valentine One. Never fails me.

I made the mistake of asking for a detector for Christmas about 6 yrs ago so my wife bought me a cheap POS Whistler from WalMart. After 2 tickets in my BMW, I upgraded to the V1 and threw the Whistler in the garbage. Stupid thing had Ka range of about 100 feet.
