There is so much ignorance in your post where do I begin?
There’s quite a bit of space between plausible and actual. The Ford Pass app is currently funded by Ford, so the app “feature” will be converted to a pay to play function reasonably soon. The vehicle doesn’t need the app for anything other than to let you see sh*t.
your first paragraph is a meaningless waste of space, off topic, and contributes Nothing to the discussion at hand... moving on...
Any vehicle with nav has gps which can be used to communicate with the vehicle to include some status updates, or even many action commands.
No. the GPS radio, in your Raptor is a receiver
only. It
Receives bytes. specifically satellite IDs, longitude and latitude. that is it. Nice try though.
It is also plausible and possible to hit you with a drone launched projectile while you’re sleeping in your bed, but not very likely unless you’re a dirtbag.
Uh huh. The point of your hyperbolic analogy was to?? convince us Ford wouldn't deny a warranty claim from easily gleaned data they already have?
Since you seemed challenged by this thinking and logic thing... How does your ford raptor tell the fordpass app how much gas is in your tank, the status of if the engine is running, and if the door is locked or unlocked?
I'll go ahead and answer this for you since the last time we let you freestyle think, it was embarrassing for you...
you can remotely start and unlock your car in a basement parking garage (where you don't have GPS signal)
Ford SYNC ... CELLULAR ... is in constant communication with your ECU. It can read trouble codes, start your motor, stop it, unlock it. Think about that. your trouble codes are ALREADY transmitted to Ford. Common trouble codes thrown by ECU tuning, VTA BOV's, exhaust modifications etc... include ... overboost, cylinder miss fires, too lean conditions, too rich conditions, catalytic converter inefficiency.
so take the new word I taught you "plausible" and shove it up your ass.
Your's truly,
Daddy
