Hi , a couple of questions regarding the Cobb stage 2 and tune from Goose. Thinking of going this way , love to know your input and thoughts. Thank you

Do members of this site receive a discount from Goose ?

I’ve been happy with the performance of the truck after tuning. Only word of caution, whatever they are doing to unlock the ECU is changing the factory settings. The claim that you can uninstall the tuner and revert back to your factory settings isn’t entirely true.

I only say that because it might have changed my decision to do it. Otherwise, the service from Goose was too notch. Cobb on the other hand hasn’t been the most helpful.

I suppose 3rd party tunes are the way to go (for those that want a tune) since Ford appears to not be interested in giving us an FP tune. Of course 3rd party tunes tend to be more aggressive but I believe most of us just want a bump and the FP tune is accepted at most dealerships.

We do offer discounted pricing to military members with proof of ID on COBB products. It's 15% off plus free shipping. And custom tuning can be added on top of that if desired.

COBB Stage 2 Power Package Ford F-150 Raptor 2021-2022 VAR-FOR010STG2

Currently, tuning is only available for the 21 and 22 trucks. The 23 ECU has not been unlocked yet.

Is the tune that noticeable? Worth the risk of potential warranty issues?

TIA

If you’re worried about warranty I wouldn’t. Cobb states you can uninstall it but when you do, it doesn’t completely revert to stock configuration. That seems like a red flag to me.

I had the Cobb tuner in my 2018 with the the TCM tune and holy what a difference. Night and day difference. I just unprogramed it and traded in for a 2023 with no issues. Each time I had the Truck service I did that with no problems.
It is for sale if anyone is interested as you can’t sell them on eBay any longer.
