@GooseTuned - Read something about turbo engine lugging and low-speed pre ignition. Is that something addressed by your tune?
I am a newbie to that topic, so feel free to explain something more if you know!
You do not have to switch pumps to switch tunes. The pump is a higher flow rate pump to handle the amount flow of E85 but when running 91 it does it with ease. It’s like a 800hp car will get down the road fast and will also cruise down the road with ease at slower speeds.I kinda want to make the jump to E85. I have a pump close enough to me that it's not inconvenient to go there every time to get E85. However, I don't really like the idea of having to switch the HPFP every time if I needed to go back to 91 for longer road trips.
It sounds like I definitely will have to switch the fuel pumps if going from E85 to 91, along with the reflash, but I don't know why I have had some people say that they don't need to change their fuel pump when switching from E85 to 91 and vice versa. Are those handful of people who are saying they don't have to switch just misinformed or not telling the truth/whole story, haha.
