@GooseTuned,

I really enjoy reading this thread and learned a lot about the variously COBB tunes and COBB GooseTuned tunes.

Have you done any COBB GooseTuned tunes with a stock engine and performance exhaust manifolds with big turbos like these Garrett G22’s from Full-Race?

If so, what has been your experience?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the feedback!!

So those are fairly new, haven’t done those yet. I’ve tuned several sets of CRP turbos though. Stage 3, stage 4, and 5 very soon. They do well. 500 on pump gas. Tuning some on E85 here in about 2-3 weeks

To the wheels or crank? To the wheels no, to the crank yes! There is about a 25% drivetrain loss.

For all you guys that are running E85 what is the reduction in fuel mileage. I’m interested in determining what my range will be with a 36 gallon tank. Currently my average range is 540 miles cruising at 70 mph.

I am only on E50 and range is in the 4xx’s and it all depends on how you drive it. If I fill up and beat on it I am in the 11.5-12.5 range, if I am easy it’s in the 13’s. If my wife drives it then it’s 14’s. Lol

PS the smiles per gallon is 10 times that of a hybrid.

Anybody with the e50 tune have this abrupt or sharp jerk when letting off after rapidly accelerating to 75-82 mph from a 35-40 mph roll?

I've had this happen multiple times already and it feels like it's dropping to a much lower gear or hard engine braking.

It stays in the same gear, no gear change when this happens.

And the roll to hard acceleration isn't from a race setting, it's when I am getting up to highway speeds from an on ramp.

I have not had that happen. What trans tune and throttle setting are you using on the AP? I run OEM+ and setting 3.
