I have deavers which helped a lot with axle wrap. I’m sure it will be a 4A launch. With a stage 2 91 oct. goosetune it just spins the rears when you get into it.

While having to be stuck in fixed AWD isn’t the greatest. That’s the only way they can attempt to get the TRX to hookup. I bet they knew it would lead to nothing but trouble if they let 2WD be a drive mode.

A tuned Raptor has a hard time as well with 2WD launches. The nature of the high powered pickups.

4A, Sport, w/AT OFF is the ONLY reliable way to launch the Raptor. There is no way it will launch well in 2WD, unless running actual drag slicks. THEN you will need traction bars and more. Mine runs a 13.1@104 (E40 tune) with zero launch problems on OEM BFGs. They're pretty worn though at 55k miles, but it puts the whole tread area flat on the pavement for maximum traction.

Can you get a Cobb/Goosetuned 91oct Stage 2 tune with a factory location upgraded intercooler? Like the CVF or new Cobb factory replacement. I understand they are much better than stock but just not as large as the full FMIC units. I live in SoCal so I’m concerned with heat issues blocking the radiator with a huge intercooler. So upgrading the intercooler in the stock location would be a big benefit. However if it still wouldn’t allow for a solid Stage 2 tune, that would be unfortunate.

Just flashed the Goose stage 2 91 octane tune with the Cobb sport TCM tune. Honestly, it is so much more refined than my other tune it's not even comparable. The truck feels so much lighter on it's feet so to say. Shifts are buttery smooth where with my other tune it was so bad that I couldn't take it any longer. I've yet to do the logging as I'm working like a dog as well but so far I am very very pleased! Wish I would have switched sooner...

Care to share the "other" tune?
