Sorry for the side question but are the AMS boost tubes worth it?

Here's a recent truck I was able to assist in remote tuning. Stage 2 truck, tuned on the @COBB Tuning Accessport
Mods: Front Mount Intercooler, AMS Boost Tubes, Cold air intake
Stock truck - 375whp 460wtq
Tuned truck - 487whp 575wtq

may I ask how the cobb tune affects the durability of engine components long term? Also how is gas mileage affected?

Was that on 93?
thanks Win appreciate the info..I've been making over 500whp for 45,000 miles so I'd imagine a good tune on a truck that is detuned from the factory would last plenty long. Time will tell. Some customers are over 60-70k on their tuned trucks
In my testing I've seen 100-300rpm spool difference, no peak power gains. I dont have them on my truck, but I've tuned plenty of people that do. They don't hurt I suppose, not sure if the rpm gain in spool is worth it.
91oct! Good question
Centrifugal pumps benefit greatly from making the intake of the pump as free flowing as possible. The outlet of the pump is far less bothered by a restriction than the inlet. So opening up the intake side of the turbo is nothing but a good thing.Sorry for the side question but are the AMS boost tubes worth it?
