I've got a bedrack coming that I hope to be able to mount mine to. But, something similar to this is what I was thinking without destroying my bedrails.

just out of curiosity, how many tires can you fill with a 10lb tank?

Subscribed. I've got a rack to bolt mine to (if I ever man up and grab one) but I'm curious to see what can be done without a rack. I like what you did there Phy, good stuff!

with 35's down to 15psi/ up to 40spi, I can go out 5X offroading and fill up fully without issue. I have only done that 2X though. I prefer to go out 4X and than fill up.

Your "backup" is to also have a compressor. I'm going to run the PT10 PowerTank and Viair setup as well. Air tools drain the PowerTank down pretty fast. I am looking for ideas on mounting new tracks in the bed though. I want everything anchored down well.

Good call on the Viair. I'm running it as a primary right now and its worked every time, but plan on between 5 and 8 minutes per fillup realistically speaking when in the heat of the desert filling a hot tire.

Here's my (mis)adventures with it, and where I ended up mounted my compressor by the way. it might spark some ideas for ya: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f67/...board-air-system-ford-raptor-compressor-7182/

It's not mine. Just a picture I saved from the internet when I was researching mine. I like his idea, but I want to lay mine along the angle of the wheel well and mount it to that inside the bed. Hopefully the rack has a free spot of tubing I can mount it to, though.

What he said. I did about 5 runs in mine plus several bicycle tires and it's just now empty.

Be sure to weigh the tank totally empty before filling it. That way when it gets close to empty, you'll know by the weight of the tank (current weight minus empty weight).
