CO2 powered train horns?

I would use this 150 psi static regulator on a small 10 pound beer keg CO2 tank. (Link below) Mount it in the bed so you can pull it out and air up tires. It will blow a train horn without fade all the way till it's empty. Norco swaps me a full tank for 8 bucks.

He will still need to make sure the tank is mounted upright. And if its extremely cold out you will not be blowing that horn very long.

what about other gases? i read something about someone using n20 but i thought thats a pretty big waste lol and sounds kinda expensive.

C02 is really the only cheap option. Nitrous Oxide is $$$ compared to CO2.

I have a 1.5# nitrous bottle on the busa and filled with CO2 and hooked up to a purge nozzle. Only for grins, just wanted something to fill the gap in the swing arm. I don't leave the bottle open and there's no leaks, but was sort of shocked that it doesn't seem to last very long.

I've had my compressor on my truck mounted on frame rail for 18 months or so and never have an issue. Wiring is simple and quick. 2nd setup from them I've used and zero issues with compressor, pressure switch, etc.

In the last "fast and furious" they used nitrous to super power a grapple gun with about an 800lb high strength stainless cable used to hold up bridges and buildings. It went through about 4 feet of a poured concerte column. It should work for a train horn....

man card rejected. i have 2 1.25lb bottles on my busa. and they are filled with nitrous.

I was mistaken, it's a 2.5# bottle... Still get no points though, it's still filled with CO2. One day I'll get around to hooking up kit to it.
