I will try and live with it for awhile but I know that it is going to drive me nutz. It doesn't seem to be a self healing problem, that's for sure!!!

I am willing do deal with some noises/feels due to the offroad suspension, but it physically sounds like something is loose on this thing. Especially over potholes, and frozen tire tracks in a parking lot (snow).

On my last 2 GM trucks, they both had the obligatory 'intermediate steering shaft' wiggle. Going around a cloverleaf in a 99-07 GM truck gives you all kinds of wacky feedback through the steering wheel.

69Mach1, I can't believe how our Raptor stories have been almost identical. From the long lead time to the long shipping wait to the mechanical issues. I guess that we just both drew the short straw or something!!!!

Yeah.. it's tragic! I couldn't take it anymore and contacted the dealer again last night.. Hopefully I can take another vacation day to get her back up there, because this isn't acceptable. None of the Raptors I test drove had this issue.

I am going to at least call the dealer and let them know that this thing has a clunk. It has been extremely cold here in MN, but that should be no reason for the front end of these things to rattle.

I used to laugh at Ford trucks in the 90's that would drive down the street with that stupid twin ibeam suspension. They would go down the road with the front wheels tilted in at about a 30 degree angle. I told myself I'd never buy a Ford because of their stupid front suspension designs. Guess I broke my own rule!! Lolol

is it possible the noise is coming from the shocks? I noticed in the video that comes with the raptor it said that the shocks would make noise but that it was normal.

I never got a video. any way curious to know how many miles was on the truck when you got it mine had 20 so it was test drove. What I'm getting at is if you had less than 20 I recommend hitting a good bump a few times start slow and get up to speed have fun see if it helps. It wont hurt anything any how. hear is how I tested mine.

It is certainly possible. I have never driven another Raptor so honestly I have nothing to compare it to. All I know is that it sounds like something up front is lose when I go over bumps. I am willing to deal with some noise, but physically something just doesn't feel right.
