If anyone searching at a later time needs a place in/around the Permian Basin area, I know of a small dealership that does 500 over invoice with no hassle. I don't want to post their name publicly as I don't want to screw myself out of the same deal, so PM me if interested. (no affiliation, other than buying cars from them in the past).

+1 for Fleet Sales (Griffin) at North Central Ford.

The negative comment for North Central may have been due to working with sales people from the big house (i.e., the non-Fleet sales folks).

I've worked with Debbie, John, and Shannon in Fleet for over 10 years, never had a problem getting a fair price on a vehicle from the get-go; have recommended others to them in the past and never had a complaint.

Of course, Randy on this board is certainly another viable option; seems like a great guy do do business with.

Just keep in mind it's an SVT and you're going to be hard-pressed (and likely disappointed) if you'll settle for nothing higher than invoice. [not sayin' it can't be done]. If you can get 3-3.5 grand off of list for a 2012 (in DFW area), you're doing good......place the order, be (very) patient, and be ready to wear the biggest $^&-eating grin the day you drive off the lot in your Raptor!

I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses, even if it costs more, so I gave Fleet Sales at North Central first shot at my Raptor, even offering $1K more than what I believed was the going rate. The email response I received was full of the same salesman double-talk you would get in the lobby showroom, so I moved on. They could have made a great sale in 5 minutes of work, and instead chose to play games. I guess they don't realize the reason most people buy over the internet is that they want a hassle free experience.

So, I turned to this forum. You guys are the best I immediately received a bunch of PM's with contacts. I emailed all the contacts. Several replied within an hour. I emailed the closest in-state dealer for a quote, received it within 15 minutes, and signed and faxed the forms back with deposit. Then the salesman emailed me a scan of the order confirmation. Done.

Congrats Four by Six. Just a tip, you might want to check the order confirmation for the priority number. Hopefully it is a priority 10, as anything higher will generally take longer to get pulled for production.

Yeah, there's more than just price involved. Make sure they don't hose you on the allocation.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and eager to get a raptor. I live in south texas and have had a hard time finding raptors. two of my buddies have '10 raptors and paid around 35-37k. I can't seem to find a deal even close to that. I'll buy new or used. I live close to south padre island but will travel within texas to find one. Please help!

35-37k. Not for a new one. The best you will find is around 500 over invoice. Thats about 3k off sticker
