It's a wise choice. I have Xpel also, and one of my mirrors would have already lost paint if not for it. Large gouge out of the Xpel, and countless bugs that have smacked the hood.

I went with opticoat for the rest of the truck, and have been considering getting the Xpel kit for the A pillars and roof & installing it myself.

He was going to Clear Bra my Headlights....I told him NOT to....
He was going to do it for Free......
I told him to Not to.....Just because...I truly believe at some point or another the Clear Bra will fade or turn yellow....

I prefer crystal clear field of vision.....at night while driving on the road....
I'll sacrafise the pitting and fading...at that point either I don't have the truck anymore....or I'll just buy new Headlight Assemblies....

I have an 07 GS350. I Clear Bra'd the front bumper in 07 with 3M (Shoreline in Huntington Beach).
The car is Silver.....
Yes I have yellowish....in the 3M.....over the years.....no that bad....if you look from afar
That car has either been garaged or covered 100% of the time.....with only 42k miles on the odo.

I had Xpel put on mine last weekend. The installer did a great job. I ended up doing the bumper too as I'm not yet committed to swapping the bumper.

Here is a pick of the edge.

The Xpel is guaranteed against yellowing or peeling for 10 years.

As for the headlights, I didn't get them done either. I use Wolfgang clear plastic sealant to protect them.

Skipped the bumper; my venom winch should be very close to getting shipped to me.

I liked the Xpel and opticoat enough that we bought a new Subaru Outback for my wife a couple months ago - took the car directly to the detailer from the car lot. It looked considerably better after he got done than when we picked up the brand new car. The Xpel has obviously saved her paint from a ton of bug chips from highway driving.

My Clear Bra is falling apart.....
he tucked a little under the hood towards the front. I noticed today....it's not sticking and peeling....sucks...ass. I'm leaving out of town tommorrow and won't be able to take it to him to fix until Friday.

Not sure if the heat from the engine bay....made it...not stick at the edges.. =(

Is it Xpel? The warranty is 10 years against peeling or discoloration if so.

Mine is wrapped under the edges and is doing fine.
