OOOOOOH, Totally jealous... I borrowed a 300 2.8 for a week or so and fell in love. Truly an amazing lens! Have you shot on the new 70-200II? I have heard good things...

A couple I grabbed in Central Park with the 300mm...

Really cool photos! How do you like the icon set up? Did it add travel?

Great shots in the park, that's the thing I like most about this lens, well, two things: the background blurr and the sharpness. I have also heard great things about the 70-200ll but have yet to check it out. I have been shooting with the same 70-200L non stabilized lens for about 10 years now so it's time to check out the new one for sure.

I don't know what is up with flickr these days but for some reason it isn't posting my pics in the thread, just the address...??

Anyway, here are a couple, with the 300 2.8, of a buddy hitting the 'burners' out at the base.

And here is an Osprey with some lunch over the Columbia river.

Love that truck. Is the rear of the bed bobbed at all or am I just seeing the shape of the bumper?

Have to second the "holy shit" on the photography.

...Dawg,
It looks like I'll be in Santa Fe later this summer visiting my pops. If you know of any good jumping locations let me know, would love to get some action shots before its a full on work truck.

Drop me a line when you get close. Not sure about any places near Santa Fe, but there are some good runs and even some dunes just west of Albuquerque in the Rio Puerco that you might like.
