Ya. I know the paint was cheaper than the badge. My badge costs a fortune and I ordered it 2 months ago. Hopefully it'll get here soon.

Jcil11: look to the right. Billet Badges is one of the venders of this website. Mention this site and they should be able to help you out with whatever you want or need.

Like blondie said, I used the vendor Billet Badges.

Disclaimer: DO NOT start this mod until you have a replacement badge. It does take a couple months for Billet Badge to make you one. I repainted the bezel and drove around without the ford emblem for a couple months. Got real tired of people asking what happened to it. Lol.

My ford badge broke when I took it off. I really don't see a way to take it off without breaking the damn thing. I kinda taped it back on until the new one comes in. Now, the waiting game.

How do you take it off?

Pry off (break) the Ford oval off then there are just 2 small bolts holding on the bezel. You can remove the camera from the bezel once it's off too. Unless you replace the Ford emblem with a Billet Badges emblem you will need a new factory Ford oval because I don't believe it is possible to remove it without breaking the clips.

Well I took a puddy paddle/blade whatever you want to call it, and slide it between the ford oval and chrome stand-off piece and pried it off of that. Warning though, it will break. Unless someone else did it a better way, I don't see how else it is possible without breaking it.
