Final words of the video, "Textbook Andy, textbook!"
Nice JK Andy; I like it! Looks like you're running 35" tires and some nice body/slider protection. Tell me about your JK (Jeep). (And where are you located?)
Well, you're right, the Raptor wouldn't be up to that because it's too narrow. But I've tried
I took my Raptor on a 3-day Death Valley trip with other vehicles most of which were Jeeps. The Raptor did great. Yeah, I mangled 2 of the four running board mounting brackets (just bent flanges - nothing serious and the brackets held up well otherwise and there's no damage to the running boards which is a plus), scraped up the driver's side rear bumper end (scratched through the paint) and the Raptor came down on some big rocks flattening my exhaust pipes (the last foot of them).
We climbed up a few "waterfalls" (rock obstacles) and they were tight in some places but I managed to squeeze the Raptor through. The Raptor is wide, the front overhang isn't as short as I'd like and the rear overhang is too long so rock crawling is a challenge but it's great fun.
Unfortunately I don't have many pics of my Raptor - I take lots of pics but can't take them of the Raptor when I'm driving
Here's a nicely modded Rubi negotiating a waterfall:
We've done some rock crawling on a Raptor Run in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park when we went through the "Tie Rod Gulch" with a bunch of Raptors (maybe you saw the pictures posted here) going up to Diablo Drop-off which we drove up.
I hope we see you on one of our future runs.
