What are you saying man? Mine is military grade aluminum.
Yeah, sure it is. The Ford marketing department says so, and they prove it by having some military jets fly over a group of parked Fords ! If that ain't proof...
And now we have military grade flashlights, military grade sunglasses, military grade tactical pens...
AND IT'S ALL ********.
What's the GSA number for those flashlights, please? I asked that question of one of the companies that sells them. Know what I got in response? The sound of crickets chirping in the night. If there's no GSA number, then the military can't buy them and soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines can't be issued them.
As for Ford, what grade of military grade aluminum is used in Ford's body panels? Would that be the aluminum alloy used for armor in the M-113 personnel carrier and the M-2/3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles? Or is it the aluminum alloy used for the skin of military aircraft? Or is it the aluminum alloy used in the superstructures of modern naval vessels?
It's marketing hype, and the truth is that the product is military look-alike.
