I my humble opinion, even a truck built for racing Baja is going to develop rattles after an off-road beating. My 2013 is still pretty tight. I do try to keep it maintained but s___t happens.

I just recently helped a friend take off the interior of the door to add some sound deadening. I think its a "should do" on these trucks, especially if you're going in there to change out the factory speakers.

If the truck has been abused, it will rattle. If the truck's interior has been disassembled by a hack, chances are shit is broken and now it rattles. Now - there are some things inherent to this interior that wear out and rattle - door locks, door checks, door hinges. There is nothing special about this interior - it's basic bare bones Ford from '09.

For reference, my 2012 doesn't rattle at all even with load range e tires. I have had to replace the door checks though.
