Anything specific to look out for?

I looked it over when I got it and nothing stood out. The welds looked solid and the fit was great.

I haven't looked at their stuff in awhile, but I was surprised to see a 5-year finish warranty and a limited lifetime warranty on workmanship. Maybe they're improving.

Wow, looks like they lowered their prices.

I paid 999 with free shipping. It's listed on their site now for 711. Thats a good deal.

SDHQ will not make them unless you take your truck to them and have it done. I found this out after I emailed them. Sadly I live too far away.

Why is this one so affordable? Its crazy how big the price difference is.

bummer. I kinda thought this was gonna happen hey if we get a few of us together and do a group purchase (maybe 5 of us?) they will go for it? I'm sure they have the measures etc. Shipping would be ruff for us on east coast but we can try11. Any SDHQ people on here???

reason SDHQ is better is that is has more sections to attach stuff (gas cans/ jack/etc). Also reason why I want this one is that it bolts to the frame thru bed not just attached to the aluminum bed

I'm going to call Lex next week and see if they are building anything for the gen 2's yet. I sent them an email this week but haven't heard a response. I'm looking to buy or have one made immediately.

Hey SDHQ posted something that they are ready to ship Tundra ones but are still working on Gen2 Raptors. but what worries me is that they are not one piece and have to be put together; would rather have a solid piece welded together and not bolts. But keep us posted that one looks very nice
