I was reading on here that the SE is holding up builds, some commodity issues. I ordered SE on my truck from the beginning with Ruby Red but I have plenty of time to wait.

That is totally false and is just another stupid rumor. SE's are rolling off the line every day.

How do you know it is false? The rumor started when I posted the question because that's what my dealer told me. A few people checked with their dealers and were told there is no issue.

Also, a commodity issue does not necessarily mean they aren't building any at all. It can also mean they aren't building them as fast as they are getting orders. For example, Ford had to estimate months ago how many SE's would be getting ordered so they could have their suppliers produce enough of the special parts to build the SE trucks. Hypothetically, if they told the seat supplier that they will need 50 red sets per week and people are ordering 60 SE's per week then Ford will string out the orders so that they don't have a truck on the line and no red seats to put into it.
