Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone can help me find a part # of the plastic center dash for trucks with the NAV. I'm not even sure what the official name of it is.. just a DIN ?

Here is a pic of what i'm talking about.. just want to find this but the actual one that is on our truck. I think this one is from 09 f150 or something.

Do you really need the PAC kit to keep sync working with a after market radio?

That part on amazon says it doesn't fit the truck.

I was hoping to just get an OEM DIN that has the NAV. I'm doing my own custom unit with it's own screen. Don't seem to be having much luck on fordparts.com

The Scosche FD1438B says its 2009 F150.. unless nothing has changed since then?

when i have time i will check it out

NOS. I saw the 8" Alpine in Cruchfield and have been looking at unit.

What do you think. I hate to go to the audio guys around here without some knowledge.

I guess a bezel could be custom made, but might be expensive? I have not seen something I would want in the truck.

I believe the scosche is good for 2009-2012 Ford F150's (Including the SVT Raptor).

Do you really need the PAC kit to keep sync working with a after market radio?

1. PAC MS-FRD1 Pac-audio.com Page Not Found | iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future for the SYNC retention. around $250

and

2. PAC SWI-PS for Pioneer/Sony radios. You would need PAC SWI-RC for your Kenwood Pac-audio.com Page Not Found | iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future for Steering Wheel Control Interface. around $85

also

3. I would also install a PAC TR7 Pac-audio.com Page Not Found | iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future that is a Universal Trigger Module. It (when configured correctly) delays the switched power every time (user duration programmed) you turn the ignition key. Helpful with Nav units not cycling off everytime you turn the key..... around $35

I am thinking for the 8" Alpine, of looking for a OE dash take off from a SVT Raptor. I have seen one for sale on eBay for around $250...but it was Red and I do not have the Red interior pkg...

Yeah what about the OEM Bezel to match the specific truck?

Please correct me but I think the Alpine will fit in a double din opening?

From Cruthchfield;

Installation Details

Installation Details for your 2011 Ford F-150 Raptor Pickup Super Cab without Navigation system; With Sony audio
This item fits your vehicle

This integration package is used in conjunction with an Alpine navigation receiver to create a plug-and-play setup that requires no additional wiring. This package includes a dash adapter, as well as a wiring interface that plugs directly from the Alpine to your vehicle.

Please Note: Your vehicle is equipped with a factory sound system that requires a special adapter to install a new car stereo. We strongly recommend that you purchase one of these adapters, and you'll save 50% if you buy it with any car stereo.

Alpine KTX-FPU8 Alpine integration package $299.99...now $149.99
We recommend this Perfect F.I.T. (Factory Integration Technology) option: This integration package is used in conjunction with an Alpine navigation receiver to create a plug-and-play setup that requires no additional wiring. This package includes a dash adapter, as well as a wiring interface that plugs directly from the Alpine to your vehicle.

PAC MS-FRD1 $199.99....now $99.99
The Crutchfield harness makes the connections between your new receiver and your car's electrical system. A detailed instruction sheet comes with the Crutchfield harness.
In order to hear audio from the SYNC system, your new radio must have an available AUX input.
Once you've plugged the Crutchfield harness into its factory mate in the dash, you'll need to connect the RCA plug from this harness to the subwoofer output on your new stereo. You'll get unsatisfactory results if you connect it to a full range output.

† You'll save 50% when the adapter is purchased with any car stereo.
