So what's going to come first? Is Chris' truck going to get done first or are we going to see a full length video first?
Good question. I'm trying to load up some video clips right now to youtube but it will be weeks before I end up making a proper get ya all amped up kind of video. The first one's will hopefully just show the progress of the truck from start to finish. Today was a bit of rough a day for the guys. They went to Plaster City to test and weren't able to get all that much done because my truck had a rock put a hole in the radiator so I ended up meeting them out there to tow the truck back home. Luckily Corey had just enough fluid left to take me for one all be it short, but very interesting ride. He opted to go down a whoop section that is usually reserved for guys looking to break their trucks in a short period of time, or test the big dollar stuff to show how much better their shit is vs. the rest of us mere mortals. Surprisingly, the truck handled it. The ass end dam near sent us over the front of the truck on one hit, but really was a testament to what the setup can handle. The whoops were like small VW's spaced car lengths apart. All in all I was impressed, but we have lots, and I mean lots of work to do before the truck is ready for a primetime get ya all excited type of video. All in All with the limited progress made today, I would say we are down the right path and need to focus a fare amount of our attention on the front. We are going to try different spring rates and valving setups that should help keep the front of the truck up with out the need to overdo it on preload. Once the front is sorted out, we will look rearward and start on that problem child. I wish we could just do this a single day. but this will take a few weeks so please have patience, it will be well worth it in the end. You all know I love making me some video!
