Hello, Everyone. Looking for a little help please! I'm installing the Ford Performance Carbon Fiber shifter in my 2019 Raptor. The new carbon shifter has the DM button on the side of it and my OEM shifter does not. The new shifter has 5 wires and my OEM has only 3 (gray, red, blue). Obviously, The 2 extra wires (brown/yellow) are for the button. My question is should I just plug it in as is or cut the 2 wires that are for the DM button? If I plug it in as will there be any issues and will the DM button actually work? I did look in the other connection for the shifter wires in truck and it does look like there are 5 pins in that connector. I figured someone has already done this so I thought I'd ask. Thanks for the input!

Looks great! Just FYI for people purchasing in the future. I had got mine from CJ Pony parts as far as I know they are the cheapest but I may be wrong!20220903_162637.jpg
