I ordered the hood and side vents supposed to be direct replacement and solid, real carbon fiber ..

I’ve read on the internet < so it --must-- be true > that constant exposure to UV can result in some carbon fiber yellowing and degrading of he epoxy / resin. Usually a UV protecting coating is applied and I’m not sure how effective this is at resisting this alleged degradation.

So it appears maybe there’s something to it for uncoated or unprotected CF. Anyway, as long as it’s at least clear coated with a good UV protectant, they should be GTG
