My takeaway from this one is more concerns about that 10 spd tranny. Nice that they got to test it outside of that big press event in SoCal.

I just added this to the Raptor Review Roundup sticky, but thought it was worth posting these awesome numbers in case people aren't checking the sticky. First full 2017 Raptor review:

2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Crew Cab Test – Review – Car and Driver

This truck flat out hauls the mail. Car and Driver usually gets the quickest numbers out there thanks to their rollout method. Essentially it's running as quick or quicker than a supercharged Gen 1, which is what ADD had been saying since they had one many months ago.

Transmission can be reprogrammed down the road with a tune. And brakes... Ah whatever, I have insurance.

Which is how a drive on the daily, so net net we're back at 12mpgs, which by the way isn't a factor for most raptor owners.

I was more suggesting that those who were hoping for major fuel mileage gains should instead focus on the improvement in hp/liter or something as it's mileage is close to the heavy slower gen won.

Which again is not a concern for us fat cats

Yah, 12 MPGs after a few 0-60 runs and 1/4 mile runs. If MPGs are your #1 concern, buy a Prius.
I've had 2 Ecoboost F150's in the last 6 years and my 2011 got 16.8 MPGs with aggresive driving and 34.5" mud tires and my 2014 gets 17.3 MPGs (.3 MPGs over the EPA avg.) with 34.5" mud tires with daily aggressive driving.
Keep in mind the trip meter rolls over every 10k miles, so this is my average @ 20,379 miles.
