Keep a clean carfax and def go the ADD bumper route while you’re at it.

Don’t feel like shelling out several $k’s for something that wasn’t my fault. I’m fine with the ding to the trucks resell value. I usually run my trucks into the ground anyway.

Right now it just hurts a little given how new it is.

I don’t know much about this but a friend of mine got into an accident. Part of the process they went through was filing for a “diminished value claim”. The other insurance then paid an additional up front cost to him based on an appraisal value based on before and after accident value.

I got swiped , similar scuffs, but mainly the bumper area. Their insurance gave me 4k.
