Haven’t had my truck for even a month and someone already hit me. The guy ran a red light and did some minor damage. He admitted it in front of a police officer so I shouldn’t have a problem getting it fixed.

I’m considering not getting it repaired and just pocketing the money to get an aftermarket bumper.
The bumper, fender flare and wheel were all scratched.

What bumpers are recommended without having to relocate the intercooler?

If i order a replacement fender, do they come pre-painted or would it be best to get it sprayed?

The fender flare comes color matched, but the fender will come primed. Agree, if you can stay away from a "bad" Carfax, it could effect the resale by 4-5 figures in re-sale.

Keep a clean carfax and def go the ADD bumper route while you’re at it.
Too late if the police were called. The VIN will already show up with "general" damage locations. If not from the PD report, it will FOR SURE when the insurance company pays anything against it. It will be labeled in the NICB database, no way around it if a claim has already been made.

Friend of mine had his 2017 Raptor hit in the front, drivable, but definitely damaged. He took the ins check, bought an ADD front bumper and some lights. Still had a few hundred left over after all was said and done.

This was my experience when my 2018 was rear ended. I slapped a new bumper half on and lo and behold it was on the report when I went to see about trading it in. No police, no bodyshop, just using insurance.

I can see the fender flare is scraped pretty bad; I’ve seen worse, but it’s deep enough that it would need to be stripped, sanded, repainted - or just get a new one. I have Jen Too and had to get rear flare, from Ford and it came unpainted. Others have had a different experience though, so not sure what to make about that.

Glad you didn’t get seriously injured and looks to be only cosmetic damage to the truck. You’ll be happily Raptoring in no time once the payment gets worked out.
