This was a bit of a frustrating day. Picked up the Raptor from the dealer on Friday night after they stated they balanced the wheels and part of it might have been the LDW system kicking in and giving the vibration. I told them it's not LDW and that it happens when it's off, as well as knowing how the three small jerks through the steering wheel feel for that warning.
The ride home last night was a little better. Decided to just take it to America's Tire today to have them run them through their road force balancers for $164 to get another opinion. The tech came back to tell me all four tires are so out of round, that balancing them would not be effective. Described the front left tire as bouncing in the machine so he didn't know how they could tell me that they balanced the wheel.
Drove straight to the dealer after that, met the GM, sales guy, and one of the service advisors. They stated they needed to run it through their system again on Monday for Ford to authorize new tires... Thought we already did that?
Just want my tires so that I can move on to enjoying the Raptor.
