Gents, just took a look at JDMs site for 1st time. Impressive. Mention of “Jim D'Amore has nailed the shift patterns” of the 10 speed appeals to me.

Any suggestions on how soon I can put a tune in? I’m just turning my first 1K miles this week.

tune is all you need unless you are leaning on it hard , often

think it also matters where ya live...every time I think my Raptor could benefit from a better IC September’s around the corner & nights get colder - I live in MA lol

if I lived in AZ/NV/FL/CA etc yeah probably more of a concern....& even then I’d only be looking at a stock location setup if it came down to it

I have been very happy with the Gearhead tune. Would have gone with MPT except for the gas requirements, and the fact that they are too gay to send them to Cali.
I am in Cali as well. How much improvement do you see when limited to 91?

I would highly recommend Goosetuned. I am flashing my ECU/TCM now, however, the customer service alone has been amazing. He answers within a few hours of sending logs and will fine tune your exact vehicle calibrations. There's a long thread already regarding this (67 pages so far) with lots of happy customers. I've never tuned before, Winfield made it extremely easy and walked me through it all. I was logging within 20 minutes of getting my COBB Access Port
