Have a 2014 and just had the rear exit exhaust installed today. Sounds great, I'm very happy with it.

Only problem is the tips don't exit straight back like in most pictures I've seen, they are angled to the right and one is a little hidden under the bumper. Had the work done at local Ford dealer (they handle Roush) and installer and he said that's how it lined up, he couldn't do anything to change that alignment. Is this common? Was one of the pipes bent poorly and that's causing this? Any ideas on what to do?

Thx

Try to post a picture.

I had a similar issue initially and roush sent me a new connector piece for the tips..that made it better, but not perfect.

Yup, that's what Roush is offering me now. I don't know this stuff very well, but i'm pretty certain the pipe that connects to the Y tube isn't bent enough to have the Y and tips line up parallel. It throws the whole Y tube a little to the right (when you're looking at it) and causes the tips to be at an angle.

I'll try to get a good picture of mine and post it.

Roush does seem more then willing to send me whatever I need to fix, they just suggested starting w a new Y tube.

WIELDED IN the stock resonator! and couldn't be happier, I just want to share my personal experience for those whom it might help them decide to go with resonator or not.

My side-exit Roush catback with resonator delete was droning way too much for my taste in the cabin but nice and angry from the outside.

So I wielded back the stock resonator in line (thankfully I kept the original exhaust system when I changed to roush) and the drone got reduced by 75% in cabin, and still has the same tone outside but with a little lower volume if that makes any sense. dont get me wrong the drone is still there at 1750 RPM - 2000 RPM, but hardly noticeable and on highways, in the cabin, it sounds just like stock but mean and badazz as f*** from the outside.

My system is side-exit, so all the theories going around that side-exits exhausts are the ones causing the drones are false, its a resonator matter, you can still reduce the drone with the resonator regardless if it is side-exit and rear-exit under the rear bumper tips.
