Can I play here? New from Chicago

Hey guys,

I am a former Chevy owner (2002 Silverado, and a 2010 Camaro SS). Converted to Ford. My Silverado was an awesome truck, 6" Rough Country Lift 33" BFG's, tune, exhaust, intake, lots of other mods. Traded the truck in for the 2010 Camaro SS. Loved the car, but missed having a truck. So I started looking and decided on a Ford.

I don't have a Raptor, but picked up a 2011 FX4 w/ 5.0L about 2 months ago. Before the flaming begins, NO I do not want to turn my FX4 into a Raptor. I just like to browse forums. And get ideas about general F150 modifications (lighting, audio,interior, exterior etc.) Also, a good friend of mine has a Raptor, he is part of the...blue haired generation...so he doesn't come on forums. So I have to tell him about the cool Raptor mods.

Just thought I would introduce myself. I'm Dave.

Here's a pic of my truck, I no longer have the stock Goodyear wrangler SRA's. They sucked. Swapped for some BFG A/t's, had them on my Silverado and loved them.

I'm sure you've been over there, but while we tend to be a bit Raptor specific, I've found Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans - Powered by vBulletin to be really helpful when it comes to the general F150 stuff. You might check them out too.

I am a member over there, but i find the ppl over there to be quite dull and complain about stiff suspension and how come their 6000 lb V8 truck doesnt get 30 mpg. lol

I worked out in Aurora for a year or so right where 59/88 intersect. I really missed Portillos when we moved to St Louis years ago. Now I'm out in San Diego, but we have 2 Portillos locations up in LA, so every 6 months or so I get some old town favorites.

Nice! Yea I work in Batavia. Which is right next to Aurora.

Welcome to the forum, no matter your vehicle. Nice truck and good choice of tires. They come on the Raptor and I ran them on my '07 Taco and currently run them on my '91 Landcuiser.
