I think it weighs 300lbs... not something you would want 2 feet out front of your front wheels.... on ANY truck...lol Too heavy.

I see too many guys loading up their SD's with front/rear replacements, headache racks, extra fenders, 100 gal fuel cells, toolboxes.... definitely exceeding the GVWR. If you're lucky on a new F250 if you have 1500lbs to play with without ANYTHING in it, or on it...

I just went to the dump to weigh mine, and I have none of that stuff on it and the truck weighs 8400lbs... GVWR is 10,000.. add 400 lbs of bumpers, 400lbs of tools and a box, and 80 gallons of diesel (at 7.2lbs per gal) and the tank and you're at 100% capacity already... with an empty bed and nothing in the glovebox.

you have to remember alot of those weight ratings are what the brakes can effectively stop in a certain distance. i realize you shouldnt break that limit, but alot of people do everyday. i dont think that bumper quite weighs 300lbs. a fully decked out ranch hand legend series weights 220lb-240lb. me and another guy lift them daily with no problems. those fab fours weigh a little less. still heavy compared to the junk ass stock bumpers though.

Well, my question is similar to the original question, but it's about a different bumper...
