Just new to the Forum here, welcome all.
Summary - awaiting parts for the dealer to R/R, under warranty, the phasers as they diagnosed the noise at startup.
Question - should I insist (at my expense) the dealership R/R the following parts as well while they have the engine opened up?
* Timing chain
* Water pump
* Thermostat

Anything else?

Thx
Water pump and thermostat, yes. Timing chain replacement is not necessary, but they have to come off regardless so it wouldn’t hurt.

Current...since the water pump and thermostat are coming off as part of the R/R of phaser work, at time of re-assembly they will just install the new parts. The only cost incurred are the new parts. Win..Win!
