My local Ford Dealer is waiting on parts to repair my cam phasers…. It has been close to 5 months…. Absolutely horrible!

No they’re not, guaranteed they didn’t order the parts OR, they repurposed the parts for another, probably newer truck that was in for something else.

Yeah, I can hear the howls of “NO way” “blah, blah, blah”. I’ve had more than one stealership do exactly that. My moonroof track was the last one. They came clean when I pressed the service manager.

I guess some place won’t ‘hold’ your parts for your repair if your vehicle isn’t RIGHT THERE on site.
They’re not backlog on cam phaser repair parts, others have had them done, recently. Your stealership either doesn’t want to do the repair, or they lack the motivation to follow through, or they reassigned the parts that were ordered for your truck to someone else’s.

Or they just don't have the mechanics to do the work and it ties up a whole service bay for 2-3 days. Pathetic service, I would try elsewhere.

On top of the supply chain issues with parts . My goto mechanic at local dealership said they just hired 5 new mechanics none have any ASE certification . Not saying there aren't good mechanics who are not certified. But kinda of scarry . A lot of issues across country dealerships keeping/finding good techs. Glad I have a consistent good mechanic to goto if I need too. Hope he stays but understandable if he leaves. Strange days.

Strange...a few others reported it was resolved as well. Did you have 21N08 performed after 21B10?
No, because no shudder just pause in shifting when cold.

Mine might be between 2nd and third and it wasn't as noticeable until after the first reprogramming.

But after transmission is warm no pausing issue.

Had mine in for a 15K oil change (2019) this week. It took them two hours to change the oil. The service guy is one of their better ones there and keeps me apprised of the service and any delays. They started the recall after the oil change and it took them another hour. He said the computers were running slow....who knows. I haven't paid too much attention because I haven't driven it that far, but I felt the shifting was a little smoother in SPORT mode. I typically drive it in NORMAL mode which has always shifted okay.
