The wife's Explorer's rear passenger window rolled down and would not roll back up. They are supposed to replace it today, but they would not do a loaner at all as the dealership had none to give out. Ford knows but don't care they are the number 1 car maker in America. I wish you luck with it but you are limited to what Ford will allow you to do.

Would the dealer not trade you out of the truck.

I would open a case with Ford, explain what happened and what was said. Also, tell them the update should have been done per ford policy. Ford is pretty good at covering known failures.
Who do you talk to for that? I am having the same issue and the general phone line people are useless
