How long exactly? I was hoping mine would be built an delivered to dealership by the time I returned to the States..Kinda my post-deployment present to self.

Mine took 6 months but I ordered if from a smaller dealership that I got great a great price and service. It was ordered before the 6.2s had hit any dealerships yet so that was why it took so long. Yours shouldn't be even close to as long as mine. Hopefully it will be waiting for you to get back home safe.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback and welcome. Yah I have browsed all the vendors and have already made a plan of the upgrades I want. As for this forum...I had a good feeling about this one from day one. Good/varied info, good humor and good smileys Plus the guys that run this forum are Military/Enforcement supporters...definitely a plus in my book (just need to figure out now how I add the badge to my name).

"Bumping" my Ford Thread to see if I have a Build date and/or VIN yet on the Raptor SCREW I ordered on 7 FEB....wish me luck while I wait on a reply.

I'll keep you in mind once I get a date/VIN; I would think you and I should get one around the same time. Good luck to both of us. this is a great site to browse (I do daily) and just learn about your soon to be truck. Great stories, pics, lessons learned (1st oil change) etc. Take care.

My Dealer told me that my order is now on the list to be scheduled and that He'll have a VIN for me shortly. Ordered 7 FEB from NM Dealer.

Today is a good day gentlemen... my Raptor now has a VIN. Ordered on 7 FEB. No sticker or date yet but I'll update when I do. VIN, kinda like being told your girl is pregnant. Sticker kinda like the ultra-sound printout, and build date kinda like the expected birth date...yah, I'm takin this serious!

Update to my Raptor Order for those that are tracking: I now have a build week!!! Timeline as follows:

7 FEB - Dealership order for my Raptor placed with FORD
21 MAR - VIN number for my Raptor created
24 MAR - Build date (week) established (week of 11 Apr)
Pending Window Sticker creation

Also, one of my fellow soldiers heard I had ordered an F150, when he asked what kind I told him a Raptor. The look was priceless, he obviously knew what one is and said "Damn good choice!"
