By way of background, Carrera GT's have a very low-mass flywheel, and a famously tricky clutch. Thus making this an obviously bad idea from the start . . .

I find it amazing how many auto transporters do not know how to do their job properly or safely. When I sold off my Lotus Elise, I had to give the guy specific directions on how to tie it down. Was rather sad This is why I transport my own vehicles.

Yep. When I got a flat in my M5, the tow driver refused to touch it. Made me drive it onto the flatbed myself.
