The ones I have on there are Fox 2.5 bump stops.they make two different versions I believe I have the 4-in. I think if I swap them out with their other version which is 2 and 1/2-in that gives me a couple inches more rear suspension travel before it hits the stop.
Don't swap them out try lowering the pressure to 80PSI - I think you will be Good to go.

Just lowered the psi today to 100. Haven't driven it hard enough to find out but I'm sure it'll be better.

Now that looks correct. On mine I think the cross member/sleeve that holds the stops is too low like you said.

I think your bump stop holder uses 2.0s and not 2.5s
2.0s are 1.5 inches shorter and that would definitely get you closer to 5 inches
Mine is 5 1/2 but it sits pretty high in the back

Okay so the shaft is 1 3/4 wide. I measured the shaft that is exposed for the amount of travel and it measures 2 1/2 inches. The bump stop total width is 2 1/2 inches.

Here is a picture of the mount/cross member. I'm thinking the previous owner got a package deal with them together.

You probably need new bumps or a new bracket
That ready lift bump kit uses 980-02-801 for the bump which is a 2.5 but the overall length is 10” vs the one you have which looks like the length similar to mine which is 11” (part # 980-02-311 ) However 10” is still too long and you would be better off with a 2.0 (overall length is 9.66)

Edit- or cut and weld the bump cylinder higher
