So VVR is showing a hold due to B&O speaker system. As seen on here, some people are having an issue with 100% volume static/popping that you can’t stop. Someone mentioned that this could be the holdup

You wouldn't be in transit if the truck wasn't done. I asked for clarification from Ford customer service, and the offsite is a temporary storage until the part comes in for completion they also say it was an upfitter (no idea what that is). They said its estimated delivery is still 11/21 but if its not done thats not happening. Granted I'm not far from Dearborn but who knows how many other stops the convoy will need to make on its way to my dealer.
Here's why I ask. I was shipped or In Transit on 10/28. Built 10/26. ETA at that time was 11/16-11/22. 11/1 truck arrived in Albany NY less than 2 hours from dealership. Method of transit is convoy... but Albany is a rail yard. So I assume convoy is last leg. Early last week still I was still In Transit... new ETA as of then was 11/5-11/11. Ok. Late last week ETA changed again to 11/25-12/1... still in Albany. Now Truck is on hold according to Ford. Terms, naming conventions, etc. are all over the place from each mouth. So if I am now on hold in Albany... I was trying to deduce what the hell that means from others status checks and clarity when I am built, shipped, in transit but on hold and no where near Dearborn. Seems like not one person responsible and able to access true order status can articulate a status update in basic terms.

From what I’ve read, Ford will put a stop-order or hold on a truck if it goes out and they find a QC issue. A guy on g14 had his truck delivered to dealership and can go see it, but they won’t let him take it and are talking about taking it back.

Wonderful. All is well. Maybe it's nothing. I'll keep you posted on what it may be.

Yea in this situation I'd assume something happened during transit or at the railyard that's holding up you being able to get it. I agree its extremely frustrating not being able to get a concrete answer of a $80k+ truck.

I know right... Ford allows us to be involved in the order process with dealer of choice and vehicle, options, etc. This attaches a name to the order and establishes an interpersonal connection directly to Ford. They then give us an order tracking website to keep us informed of 'our' vehicle coming to us that we ordered that we intend on purchasing. Meanwhile everyone else involved thinks its their vehicle and shut the door to us entirely as the consumer in some cases. Then we are further kept in the dark on details or delays that differ from our updates so planning properly to purchase becomes useless. Crazy thing is... this is my second Raptor ordered and I also ordered two RS, dealt with two different Bronco reservations... and it's definitely become a lot worse with a better process and more resources in place. Be more transparent. Still watching to see where others end up. We love these trucks... its an identity, loyalty, etc.

Yea this has been my worst experience so far. I know it’s “unprecedented times” but the amount of money, research, and engineering involved would make it seem like the logistical system would be near perfect.

Maybe it is…and they have decided for whatever reason to keep owners in the dark.

I can go to BMW and pick out whatever vehicle I want, personalize it, and have it here in 3 weeks. It’s not just Ford but doesn’t seem to be affecting other brands as bad.

Just saw this morning on the Gen3 FB group that someone just got their 23 Avalanche delivered.
