I just called Ford Marketing and I was given some more bad news. Blend date was 10/26. The last email from Ford I got said me ETA was 12/20-26. After getting off the phone with Ford Marketing they said that they see a 1/23/2023 delivery ETA. WTF. I asked them in their own opinion what the hold up could be and he couldn't give me an answer.

I then called the dealership and gave them an update and was told that they have no more information then what Ford Marketing told me. I'm on a ride driven by the blind. No one knows anything and it's frustrating.
I feel your pain, nobody seems to have any answers, nor were they willing to do more digging. Ford is definitely a dumpster fire regarding the tracker and customer service.

I just don’t like being strung along. Just give me an honest answer, not ETA after ETA…..which they always say is subject to change. If I didn’t love the truck so much; I would have picked another brand like the RAM TRX. Which RAM apparently produced a lot of, and one can easily get without all the ordering BS. Just don’t like RAM or anything
Affiliated with Dodge. My job has fleet vehicles which include Chevy, Dodge and Ford; the Fords are the only ones that hold up to the test of time.

Amen! @BLADErunner & @dmaustin. Couldn't agree more. These are special retail orders with customers attached. Forgot about the status updates... we have better ways to find that out before anyone. WHY? is the constant... why is the ETA keep changing, WHY is it delayed... WHY. Dealer sits on an easy sale... Ford trains people to minimize details and not expose failures and then wants a customer survey response every time they fail.

Reached my 7th ETA, Build in November and just waiting to be shipped. Dealer said it’s just sitting in the rail yard waiting. He said railroad worker shortages are causing major delays. He said I shouldn’t expect see the truck until Mid to late January. Finally an honest answer!

He also said that FORD continuously gives customers unrealistic ETAs, which causes the customers to get anxious. But when in reality they hardly ever meet their ETAs . Some answers, but I’m still anxious and waiting. But I do appreciate the actual honesty my dealer gave me.

In the meantime, I will wait impatiently!!! Lol

Mine sat in the rail yard 21 days before getting loaded but then arrived in two.

My truck has shown “Built” since 11/20. Waiting for shipping.

The most frustrating thing, though, is that I literally drive by the rouge plant in Dearborn every single day. My dealer is <10 miles from the plant. My truck is released and waiting for convoy shipment to the dealership.

It’s absolutely maddening that I’ve now had 4 missed ETAs when it’s physically and literally SO CLOSE.

Seriously considering moving on… but I can’t bring myself to walk away when I’m this close.

Wow that is frustrating, especially being so close. You would think your dealer would just call and send a flat bed over to the plant and just get it directly released to them , being that they are 10 miles away. That sucks!

I’m in NJ just south of Trenton; so it’s about 8 1/2 hour drive. It’s not close, but it’s closer than all the Texas folks that recently took delivery.

I placed my order in July, and just saw a post where someone ordered in late August and has already received their truck.

But on the other hand , there are folks that ordered last year and still haven’t received their trucks.

There is no rhyme or reason why some trucks get shipped immediately and others sit in a rail yard for a month or more.

Ford needs to get their Shit together; because they are seriously going to loose customers over this ridiculous ordering process. Especially when competitors have vehicles available.

Happy Holidays Y'all! Latest update. Onto my 12th ETA date range now based on status update checks. Three ETA emails from Ford. Shipped out and away from Dearborn on 10/28. No holds. Sitting in railyard 75 minutes from dealer for 58 days. I keep trying to check on 'why' status and noone is of any help. Yay!!!

This is the most frustrating purchasing experience, I’ve ever had. I love Ford trucks; especially the raptors. But I’m not pleased with the experience of ordering only to be led on with ETA after ETA.

Mine shipped on 10/29 and is sitting at a railyard an hour from my dealership and has been for getting close to 2 months.

My new method of thinking is to just to forget about it so it doesn't eat at my soul. It's a horrible mindset by ford. I don't get it either, I didn't order from a small dealership in a small town.
