Congrats! My first Ford as well and absolutely love it! Mine took about 2 weeks to arrive in Phoenix after it was built.

That's good to know. Can't wait!

I'm original from Michigan and know a bunch of people that work for Ford. Just gotta get the thing to California now...

Consider yourself VERY LUCKY. That doesn't happen to often. ESPECIALLY if you don't work for Ford.


I work for the Ford (at a different plant than DTP) and I got ****** over last week Tuesday when I was suppose to see mine being built. Guy who was suppose to walk me thru (use to work at my plant) forgot to inform me that the week mine was scheduled to be built, he would be on vacation. He says he sent an email to my superintendent , but I don't believe him. I think he's just an idiot. Anyway, my superintendent felt bad I got up at 4:30am and went down there and sat for 4 1/2 hours and never got in so he gave me a number of someone else to call (who is my plant liaison at DTP) and he's gonna walk me thru the line in a couple weeks. Won't be to see my truck, but it will still be cool to go down there and watch some truck be built. I got a buddy who is getting an FX4 built on the 27th of this month. I'll be going down there to see his truck be built.
