plenty of guys have been talking back and forth with dealers. apparently orders can be put in the system, but no pricing or performance numbers are available.

relax man, not a big deal...most are just going by what they're hearing from their dealers or posting in other groups. i have no dog in this fight anyhow, my stock ass gen 1 isn't getting traded in.

You're arguing semantics. I could care less if they "accept" my order yesterday, or today or Friday. My dealer, put my order in in the same manner they put my F-450 Platinum, and F-550 Chassic cabs order in. They configured them how they wanted, put the soft order in, and once ford had pricing set a few weeks later, they told me the pricing.

I couldn't give a shit about pricing, I get my super duties at invoice or less, and my raptor will be $500 above invoice.

Not really a big deal. Especially if you buy a lot of trucks.

I spoke to the General Manager (friend) at my Ford store. I think he probably knows more about ordering different stuff from Ford than most other dealers do as they deal heavily in the special vehicles and he told me that they do have SOME info released on the new Raptors, but that there is no way they can place an order at this time. Sure, I can be added to the list for when they can order, but that's it. No ordering right now. That may be what was mentioned above as a 'soft order', but these guys can't even enter any information into the Ford ordering software. Period.
