My dealer ordered the truck I'm buying on 6/10. I signed to buy the truck (with changes to the stock order) on 6/16.

If you look at the Ford order system, it shows an order date of 6/10 on the truck.

I’m in the same boat! Same original date for the stock order but I modified it early July.

I seriously hate dealers so bad. You should have just bought it at MSRP and then left your Gen 2 on the street in front of their dealership with a For Sale sign in the window and made sure they knew how much you sold it for.

I wouldn't trust them enough to 'order' at MSRP....

My truck was scheduled on 6/12 and then was assigned build week of 8/2, which changed to week of 8/9, and then on 7/21 - moved a 3rd time to week of 9/27 with no specified day. Who knows if that week will stick. I was considering trading in my 2019 Raptor early but feels like I won't see my Gen 3 until end of October at the earliest....

I know that group of dealerships and wouldnt buy from them based on past experience. They tried same thing with my trade (not a Raptor) on a new 2020 in March of 2020. They weren’t interested in really selling you anything. Just wanted to try to steal your truck. They can sell that 21 easily probably with ADM if they give anywhere near realistic trade in value.

Yup, I should have listened to my gut just based on the phone calls with them and never even went. Now, I wouldn't go to any Fred Beans dealer based on my experience.

My dealer was very specific about this with me and said they could not order stock. Had me sign the order sheet (not an order form) so that they could submit the order to Ford. I think they had three allocations and a long line of customers so there would have been no reason to order for stock (they do not sell for over MSRP).

Like @EMY92 mentioned, that is not the case universally. A bunch of orders were placed by dealers as stock, mine included and like him I didn't get the order under my name until after the fact.

That's funny, because Fred Beans was like the 2nd and 3rd dealer I called back when the banks opened. The first one wanted 5k ADM and the second wanted 15k. I laughed and said they should probably both get on the same page

I've met quite a few good people from this site buying a some parts and Raptor runs in the Pine Barrens, the least we can do is save each other from dealer ****.

BTW, it's still listed on their site. I wonder how many poor souls they have taken a deposit from for that one....

I am tracking this truck now.. it's in production today and I am only 40 miles away. I want to see how long it takes for them to deliver and may even stop by to take a look at it if I can. Get us some more pictures.
