I just got a band new raptor, do I need to go on low rpm during the first 1000 KM? Or I can normally go to desert and floor it normally?

Welcome to FRF. If you don’t post a picture, you actually own a prius :)

you don’t need to “baby” the Raptor prius but you shouldn’t floor it in the desert repeatedly either. Vary the rpm levels, don’t hold high rpms for long periods of time during the first couple of thousand km... Then head to the desert for normal desert shenanigans.

Lol, loved your comments guys, that's the only Pic I have at the moment, nice back, ha? So I live in Dubai, and when we off road we play on dunes, mostly low gears 1st and second and sometimes 4L if we will climb high dunes. So I think I would hold my horses for couple of 1000 KM " and yes, here we use KM"

Thanks for the feedbacks

Welcome to the place, congrats on a beautiful Raptor. Shouldn't have to wait too long to take it out in the dunes, I had mine out when it was new, that's what warranty is for.

That’s great, now we don’t have to assign you a provisional prius picture :)

Short duration bursts won’t hurt the truck but just keep things under control for those first miles/kilometers

nobody’s perfect ;-)

hopefully you’ll be sharing some cool dune shredding video soon.
