I sent you a PM. First I would like to have the part numbers that are printed on the backing plates of the brake pads to ensure that the warehouse didn't send you parts for the wrong application in the first place since I did not order R1 pads for you. Once I can confirm that, I can make an assessment according to what you want to have done. But I plan to have the Posi Quiet pads sent out and a return shipping label sent for returning the pads you have.

I did receive it and new pads are being shipped out today and I will have a return shipping label shortly. The part numbers are correct for the application, so that would not have been an issue.

Well, after the fact, I did some digging by getting with my rep and his boss about the part numbers that you sent me before. Apparently, when R1 is packaging their pads for shipping out to customers, if they happen to run out of their branded pads, they will put Posi Quiet pads in their boxes to get them out the door. Well, in your case, that is what happened. I didn't catch it before because I just wanted to get yours handled right out of the gate with zero delays.

I know you guys have an awesome reputation,hence why I purchased from you. I worked 35+ years as a Master Electrician/ Project engineer. I always had to triple check my materials and BOM,s against my orders. One out of spec part could be life or death or the destruction of multimillion dollar pieces of equipment. I checked into PQ's manufacturer and the price in lots of 50/400. I hope that I have the great results that you have had. I always try to deal with American companies. Reason being Chinese,Mexican parts are ALWAYS substandard and usually have on an average a 5 to one failure rate. Thats being kind. Though I have to admit my experiance is with electrical ,electronics and metals.

I am pretty sure that he meant that he couldn't tell the difference between the pads he received first and the pads that were sent as replacements. Not that he noticed a difference with just installing the pads.
