Nope not on the raptor - at least that is my understanding since there is no MAF, venting to atmosphere will cause no ill effects in AFR.

I’m running a SVC front mount that uses the oem blowoff valve vented to atmosphere. I also have a custom stage 2 map from @wgr73. Not sure if he tuned for the open atmosphere.

I stand corrected if that is the case. But if your vehicle has a mass airflow sensor, you will need to tune it if you are going atmospheric

Can Anyone with an accessport see if they can log Mass airflow. It can still be calculated with other factors.

Unmetered air is vented.

You are thinking of vehicles where the BOV is post MAF. The Raptor is not that way.

Thanks guys, figured out that the sound is achievable with adjustable BOV the more its tightened, the more flutter sound at low boost, which is better than no BOV at all. Consider this as SOLVED

Well excuse me ma’am. I have had a number of turbo vehicles, including 2 Cobb wrxs. I was drawing from previous experience. In any case, the guy is an idiot for wanting to remove the BOV. Ease the sense of self importance or use some of this.
