Bought a used SCT X4 - have some ?'s

Bought a used SCT X4 tuner from a forum member. Not real familiar with tuners at all, but I assume it will have "canned" tunes from SCT. But the seller says it also has a 5 star tune but it is specific to his VIN. Does that mean I cannot use this 5 star tune or can I contact someone and have that tune reprogrammed for my truck?

I believe that they will need to load new tunes. They can do all that online so it's pretty sweet.

That we can do! First we can check to see if the info. we have for the prior tunes/vehicle are compatible. If they are you're covered. If not we will get you hooked up with some new tunes at a great deal!

As luck would have it all the tunes worked on my truck from the previous owner. The 91 performance tune really is amazing. Is there anything more impressive out there tune-wise? Now the truck will roast the tires and will also chirp the tires shifting to 2nd.
