Hey Gang...signed up a few weeks ago. Just kinda looked around the last few weeks trying to get a feel for the site and get some recommendations for easy upgrades. Been looking at front/rear bumper upgrades. Haven’t seen anyone write about Bodyguard. Been looking at their A2L for my 2018 Raptor. Anyone have experience with this? Kinda hard to argue against ADD given the numerous quality recommendations.
Thanks Fellas!

I ordered a set of Bodyguard bumpers back in early December for my 2019. What I can tell you so far is that it only took about 3 weeks for them to ship.(they say to allow 4 to 6 weeks) I ordered them in bare steel because I want them color matched for the most part. The bumpers came in wrapped in black plastic warp and cardboard then steel banded to a long pallet. The shipping company delivered them in great condition there wasn't a nick in the cardboard or wrap. The bumpers are currently at the paint shop I hope to have them by the end of the week. I will keep you posted on installation and how they look when they are done.

More of a bumper philosophy comment than anything, but still relevant, I think. I tend to be old school, but some of these fancy aftermarket bumpers look really, really good, are great for light placement, etc., but don't look like they'll take more than a VERY slow speed bump.

Some certainly look more beefy than others. And some have more intricate designs and look more fragile. I'd look for a really good contact point at the frame horns and anything that protrudes in between them at the very least.

I'd be choked to lay down decent coin on an aftermarket, then trash it with a little tree, rock or prius bump. To each their own of course.

I have both the front and rear on my 2018 Raptor. Very good bumpers, I went with them over the ADD since it seems like everyone has the ADD bumpers.

They look awesome I can't wait to get mine put on. One question did you paint the skid plate? I was worried about it chipping so I put a bedliner product on it.
