Raptor is a BIG vehicle. It took me about 3 weeks to get use to the size AND even now I never park it in tight spots as maneuverability in tight spots can be difficult. And now you learn, with a truck you have to take your turns just a little bit wider so you can clear the tail end.

Don't worry insurance will fix it

20 years ago they would have just pound it out & bondo it, but now they replace the whole panel & door skin. It'll be just like new.

To answer your question. The cab of the vehicle is just an F150. The bed of the truck is Raptor specific (much wider that a regular F150).

Ouch. Yeah, that won't buff out but at least the truck will have some character now. :)

Guess the owner's manual should have been more explicit and included one of those yellow colored "caution wide turn" signs for semi-trucks...

Sorry that happened to you. I've done similar things in my previous car but I've been extra careful with my Raptor and so far, no incidents. It's particularly tricky going through narrow drive-thus. I use my side mirrors a lot!

Sorry that happened bubba! I know how sick you felt, but I know they'll get it fixed as good as new!! I've been driving trucks for over 30 years now and still get surprised how wide this thing is on a regular basis! Be careful when you get her back from the shop since the learning curve can sometimes have a sharp turn in it!!
Be safe and have fun with your new Raptor!! It's still the baddest-ass truck out there!!
