So i picked up my 2012 screw a couple weeks ago and when I leave the truck running and walk far enough away that my phone disconnects from the sync system and come back I have to manually reconnect it. Also regardless of weather I have to manually connect it or it automatically connects (which only happens on start up) I have to turn off the annoying text notifications EVERY TIME..... Any pointers?

Hey SonofSaber,

Congrats on your new ride! Which type of phone is being connected? Let me know which type of system you have as well: Getting Started Guide for the SYNC In-Vehicle Technology | Ford.com

Hey Kim, can you drop a hint to the old SVT guys that we would like a v8 in the 2017 Raptor!
Thanks!
Hey FullAuto,

I only handle the SYNC stuff, but feel free to send this feedback over to our awesome FordService account: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=14108 :)

Thanks Kim! I have the sync with voice activated nav and a Samsung galaxy note 4

You're welcome. One quick troubleshooting tip you can try is soft resetting the phone. Since this phone has a removable battery, the quickest way to reset is by taking out the battery and replacing it after about 30 seconds. This will improve the overall Bluetooth connection with your system. The phone will still be paired to SYNC once you power the phone back up.
